How does this rum taste?
- Nice banana bread note, almonds, some esters
- Once rested this is really nice
- voller Ladung Ester und Klebstoff
Rum Artesanal Jamaica Rum shines with big notes of esters, banana, marzipan and funky tropical fruits, while hints of glue and almond run through the glass. Users find lots to unpack: "banana bread note, almonds, some esters" (Piotr Ignasiak) and a "wonderful nose," especially in the empty glass (Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰). Some call it an "Esterbombe" (Lukas Jäger), others note its harmonious side: "funky and harmonisch. Top!" (Oliver). While a few say it leans "harsh" or "not that well integrated," the general vibe is of a bold, complex Jamaican that keeps you coming back for another sip.

To New Yarmouth
"Once rested this is really nice and hits really well on both the nose and palate. An intense yet really well balanced rum and the nose was was really nice in the empty glass. Even the day after the glass gave some wonderful notes."
"me personally pure a little too spicy. Beautiful cookie dough"
"Yes, definitely Jamaica, fermented fruits and massive esters from the start. The rum is like a double whammy, in the nose and on the palate, so it must! Now, however, my individual but:I have the rum parallel to the NY 1994 of Valinch"
"How can it be that after 4 years I still don't have a review for this bottling? For me it's one of the best bottlings I've ever tasted from NY. Apart from the 94s, there was somehow nothing else that I liked so much. Powerful, almost overwhelming, but then just perfectly balanced and complex. An estery bomb, but at the same time it offers a lot more. Warm brioche, sweet mandarins, marzipan, but also a slight smokiness and a hint of cinnamon. I think I could write a lot more here, perhaps I'm exaggerating a little. But somehow this rum has done it to me! Addendum: The sister bottling is also strong, really top, but for me a touch behind this one."
