Wow, ist das wirklich ein Long Pond? Im aller ersten Moment, der Nase nach, wäre mein Blindtipp wahrscheinlich nach Hampden gegangen. Soviel Ester habe ich bisher noch bei keinem anderen Long Pond aus 2000 in der Nase wahrnehmen können. Zum Ester gesellt sich auch um einiges mehr Klebstoff und ein Korb an tropischen Früchten, dafür weniger Medizin und Pflanzen. Auch geschnittenes nasses Gras ist wahrzunehmen, was ich bei keiner anderen Abfüllung bisher gerochen habe. Im Mund beginnend eine schöne leichte ölige Süße, gepaart mit dem Ester aus der Nase. Hier werden die tropischen Früchte auch erkennbar: gegrillte Ananas, überreife Bananen und Mangos mit ganz leichten Raucharomen. Auch hier am Gaumen definitiv der esterlastigste LP aus 2000, den ich bisher im Glas hatte. Ein mittellanger Abgang mit leichtem Ester, viel Frucht und Anis. Definitiv der beste LP aus 2000 den ich bisher probieren durfte und außerdem eine Abfüllung, die mich hoffen lässt, dass dieser Jahrgang mit ein paar zusätzlichen Jahren noch einige tolle Tropfen hervorbringen wird. 86 Punkte
