The "Demerara" was produced in Guyana at the Port Mourant distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 1975 from Molasses and then aged for 37 years. The rum has an ABV of 51,1%. This is a limited release and there are only 139 bottles. 14 community members rated this rum with an average of 9.2/10. The rum smells like Vanilla, Prunes and Complex, and on the palate there is Bitter, Oak and Prunes.

Inspiring rum. Bottled at just the right time before it turns bitter. Tastes like a 94 REV only better. Great woody notes, eternal finish. Comprehensive creaminess and even a slight sweetness despite its great age. Wow!
A full load of plum on the nose, then a little more bitter on the finish than other PM 7x.
This is a great sip of a very rare bottle made on the oldest still in the world. Very expensive golden drops but well worth it.
