Private Cask by La Confrérie du Rhum, crafted at Rivière du Mât distillery, offers an enticing rum experience. Thinking about the price tag you get a lot for your money in my mind. A naturally sweet and fruity profile with some wood and spices. Well balanced and the ABV has been integrated really well. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some mint and medicinal notes.

I really like it! Nice balance between wood, vanilla, chocolate, mint and yellow fruits.
Really nice thing and totally the surprise! On the nose still fruity, sweet spicy almost nougat chocolates and dried fruit and some mint. Taste then tropical fruits like pineapple and banana, menthol candy, dark chocolate and some chili. Very very round and elegant, then becoming a bit drier and spicier on the finish. Beautiful atypical easy sipping rum from reunion! I really like it! :)
