"Thinking about the price tag you get a lot for your money in my mind. A naturally sweet and fruity profile with some wood and spices. Well balanced and the ABV has been integrated really well. The empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some mint and medicinal notes."
"Molasses rum from Guadeloupe. Am I a great friend of! Nose: Wow, unusual, complex and intense. Beautifully aromatic. Spicy-woody but also fruity. A slight menthol note brings in a dirty freshness. At the beginning salty-peppery with nutmeg, anise and some ginger, but next to it also equal sweetness of maple syrup and brown sugar. Pleasantly fruity with black currant, cherry and gooseberry. Muted at the back, slightly soapy and smoky at the same time. Exciting composition. 8,3 Palate: what immediately stands out are the distinct soapy notes, a menthol freshness and sweet-sour-tart molasses. There is also tobacco and young wood. Somehow it's also fruity, perhaps orange peel with some ginger. Again, nicely complex and not boring. A bit too much soap for me. 7,9"
"I really like it! Nice balance between wood, vanilla, chocolate, mint and yellow fruits."
