How does this rum taste?
The S.B.S Guyana 17-Year-Old Rum, distilled by Demerara Distillers Ltd in Guyana and bottled by 1423 World Class Spirits, showcases a vibrant herbal and spicy profile. Distilled in 2003 from molasses using a pot still, this rum has aged gracefully, offering complex notes of licorice, dried fruits, and woody spices. Bottled at 59.7% ABV, it delivers a strong and full-bodied experience, with a warm, lingering finish. Some reviewers found its astringency and bitter undertones challenging, while others appreciated its rich, herbal complexity. This limited release, with only 258 bottles, is a testament to the diverse, bold flavors of Demerara rums and caters to those who appreciate distinct, herbal spirits.

for me more like Versailles but probably PM. A bit harsh/austere for the age, still very good.
Kräuterbonbon ist das Thema. Gelungen arrangiert und sehr angenehm zu trinken.
Alles da, lecker und eher trocken mit Kräutern, Tee und Anis. Aber nicht herausragend. Für mich sehr angenehm und unkompliziert zu trinken.
