A rum with character and a surprisingly salty/sweet taste
very well integrated despite the young age and barrel strength!
At the price tag this is a nice rum. It has to rest for a while or it'll bite you. Once rested it is full of fruity flavours alongside smoky oak. There's also a bit of chocolate and licorice hidden in there. Overall a good rum and worth the price tag.
A downright fruity Spaniard, not too one-dimensional, at a really good and reasonable price. In my opinion, it offers a great introduction if you want to get to grips with rum for the first time or show others the variety. For my taste, very clearly ahead of the CDI Cuba and Australia, which were released at the same time.
