The "Dominican Republic" was produced in Dominican Republic at the Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2010 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 8 years. The rum has an ABV of 62,1%. The rum smells like Chocolate, Tobacco and Licorice, and on the palate there is Woody, Vanilla and Strong.

"At the price tag this is a nice rum. It has to rest for a while or it'll bite you. Once rested it is full of fruity flavours alongside smoky oak. There's also a bit of chocolate and licorice hidden in there. Overall a good rum and worth the price tag."
