It was distilled in 1989 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 23 years. The rum has an ABV of 54,9%. The rum smells like Woody, Burnt sugar and Caramel, and on the palate there is Roasted, Licorice and Woody.

Very round, balanced profile - a pleasant blend of tropical fruits, wood, spices and a little caramel sweetness. For me, this is one of the best representatives of the 1989 Uitvlugts.
