“Aus Guadeloupe kommen immer wieder großartige Abfüllungen. DT hat immer gute Fässer und 18 yo mit Fasstärke klingt super. Nase: schön würzig-holzig-fruchtig. Zu Beginn leicht pfeffrig mit Muskat und leichten Anteilen von Maggi. Hinzu kommt noch etwas spitzes, vielleicht Ingwer und ein Hauch Minze. Duftendes Zedernholz und eine leichte Röst-Rauch-Note übernehmen, dicht gefolgt von einer sahnigen Toffee-Süße mit Kirsche, Brombeere und dezent Zitronenschale. Sehr angenehm. 88 Gaumen: würzig-holzig auch hier. Eine leckere Mischung aus Umami, Lakritz, süßlichem Kümmel und leicht salzig-pfeffrig. Hat aber sich etwas frisches, kräuteriges mit Safran und Kamille unterstrichen von Sauerkirsche und Traube. Hinten kommen dann grasiges Zuckerrohr und Lakritze durch. Gefällt mir auch echt gut. 86”
