How does this rum taste?
L'Esprit Australia Single Cask is a potent Australian rum, distilled at Beenleigh and bottled by Whisky & Rhum. With its 78.1% ABV, this limited release offers an intense experience with prominent notes of alcoholic warmth, roasted and burnt sugar, and complex layers of vanilla and baking spices. The taste profile includes robust red pepper and milk chocolate flavors, with a harmonious blend of spices. While appreciated for the impressive integration of high alcohol content, some find it could benefit from more complexity.

damn, in your face….!
I'm always surprised when just under 80% are so drinkable...on the nose after some time a nice mix of creme brulee and green apple, as well as some blackberry and dark chocolate.taste then full broadside creamy, strong cappuccino dusted with cocoa, some dark grapes and lots of spices, as well as slightly floral notes reminiscent of red pepper, vanilla beans and mace. in the finish comes some fruit bread, candied ginger as well as raisins, figs and slightly metallic notes to it. very good for the alcohol strength, could only be a little more complex.🤙
Nase sehr alkoholisch, gefällt mir am Gaumen besser. Die 78.1% merkt man ganz klar. Nur für geübte mit viel CS Erfahrung 😅.
A real board! The almost 80% are incredibly well integrated. There is perhaps a lack of complexity.
