This wa a pretty good demerara and I'd say it falls in the category of medium heavy demerara rums. The nose woody with fruits, caramel and molasses with streaks of polish and tobacco. The palate is warm, smoky and woody with fruits, spices and molasses followed by caramel and chocolate. The nose on this one after an hour is really nice. The finish is medium to long, warm and fruity with smoky wood.
