“Very intense bottling. In the nose lies blind even a Caroni HTR in the range of possibilities, but on the palate then turns the heavy Demerara sweetness paired with smoky spiciness perception in the direction of Guyana. Aromatically diverse, an exciting rum. A little more balance would have helped the rum to an even higher score, but even so remains a very good rum to record.”
