With a medium to long finish this is one of the best Barbados rums I have ever had. The nose is fruity with smoked oak and there from opening the bottle. Tha palate is very well balanced, lightly sweet with a light bitterness to it. Again very fruity with smoky oak and vanilla. The finish is spot on with smoky oak and fruits and again sweet with a touch of bitterness. When released the rums price matched what you got but today it's very and I mean very expensive. A wonderful rum for their 300th anniversary and I love the decanter.
The nose is very much in the Foursquare direction. A little thin on the palate, a mixture of Mount Gay and Foursquare, but for me personally it goes more in the direction of Foursquare, lots of wood and barrel notes, nicely round.
