“This is a step up from the 5+5 and in a good way. More complexity and a wonderful nose after resting for 15 minutes. There is something tropical about this nice rum. The nose sets off with vanilla and caramel followed by barrel and some orange. The palate is nicely balanced between the proof and spices/oak/barrel. Almond, chocolate and molasses follow and sweet, spice and sherry tops it off. The finish is medium long, warm and some spices.”

“A good sweetened solera rum! It’s more on the nutty side bit a good sipper. pleasant to drink. What i like: The unique bottle and box 😋 Nose: Solvents, fruity, dried fruits, orange, almond, roasted, walnut, vanilla Mouth: dry, mild, balanced, thin, sugar, sweet, molasses, pastries, vanilla, oak(barrel), nutty, almond Finish: Short, dry, warm, honey, sweet, caramel, burnt sugar, vanilla, oak(barrel)”
