Was hesitant on this because I've never had a El Salvador rum before. I'm not 100% sure, but this might be RF's first release as well. It's lovely though! Have had some not great Plantation/Clement weird casks lately, and this one hits all the right notes. Ripe tropical fruit, sweet finish without being cloying. Got big toasts when I first opened the bottle. I went all in and grabbed all their available bottles after having their Barbados 9 year. This makes me glad I did.
Hands down a rum I recommend, pick this up as the guys over at Rolling Forks knocked it out of the park with this one.
