“Alcohol burns a bit for both nose and mouth and could have been integrated better. Otherwise, profile is really round with coconut, pastries, vanilla and Caroni notes which are very shy in the background. Good rum overall, that's a bit pitty that alcohol is not correctly integrated.”

“Absolute exception caroni! Could almost be a foursquare especially on the nose, taste then 30% caroni 70% foursquare. Very tasty and harmonious and still relatively under the radar. Really fun and has a dangerous drinking flow!🤤😅”

“Nez plutôt alcoolisé, très typé Barbade... partir de traces de gros caroni qui tache. Le boisé est présent sans écraser le type. Le reste fait la part belle aux fruits (Orange, citron, marmelade) et arômes pâtissiers ainsi qu’ une fraîcheur mentholée. Le goudron, caramel brûlé ne sont pas vraiment présents Une bouche plus monolithique avec du fruité comme au nez et de grosses notes tertiaires... ça n’écrase pas le tout comme sur un 94 23yo mais on sent qu’il était temps. Un gros caoutchouc sera de partie le rendant moins sexy que prévu au nez Un caroni light /heavy qui ne ressemble que de loin à un caroni... est ce bon ? Oui, clairement c’est sympa. Est ce un caroni inoubliable, non... trop rude pour être un Barbade, trop poli pour être un caroni, on se retrouve avec un étrange mix des deux, mais est ce ça qu’on attendait ?”
