How does this rum taste?
- really unique rum
- very fruity, dirty and pungent
- finish: very long, wood, roasted licorice, orange
Caroni’s 20-year Trilogy Guyana Stock Blended Rum delivers the classic dirty and woody notes RumX members crave, layered with varnish, tropical fruits, and a touch of tar. The aroma pulls you in with what cigares calls “vieux bois vernis” and Pavel Spacek describes as a “really unique rum.” While some, like Maxence, feel the nose can be "a bit too spicy and dry", there’s appreciation for its complex mouthfeel—dirty, fruity, and distinctly Caroni, with a famously long, woody finish that Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰 likens to “roasted licorice, orange.

"14.03.2020 Had a nice afternoon and evening with friends. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose: wood, roasted, dried fruit, tar, light rubber, cherry. Palate: oily, wood, roasted, light tar and rubber, caramel. Finish: very long, wood, roasted licorice, orange."
"Somehow, out of this Trilogy, i like the blend the most, it really hits a presonal sweetspot for me. It is rather nice typical 1996 aroma. but gets really harmonic in the end. Very fruity, dirty and pungent."
"Top nose. On the palate, however, the alcohol is not ideally integrated in my opinion."
