The "Demerara Dark" was produced in Guyana at the Diamond distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 2003 from Molasses and then aged for 15 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. "27.06.2020 Tasting at the office with my colleagues. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light, sweet, light wood, plum, light varnish, light citrus, anise. Palate Round, naturally sweet, light wood,, plum, light citrus, light licorice, earthy, faint chocolate. Finish Medium long, light wood, dried fruit, light chocolate, licorice, spice."
