The "Kill Devil" was produced in Jamaica at the Clarendon distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Hunter Laing. It was distilled in 2007 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 10 years. The rum has an ABV of 46%. 14.09.2019 Super Kill Devil tasting at a local shop, that unfortunately is no more. Notes Light in colour. Nose Fresh, light ester, light wood, banana, overripe, light olive, fruity, spice, light caramel. Palate Light, fresh, oily, light ester, light wood, olive, faint tar, fruity, light rubber, light caramel, spice, fruits. Finish Medium long, oily, warm, wood, light earthy, faint chocolate.
