The "1980" was produced in Guyana at the Port Mourant distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Bristol Classic Rum. This sister cask is really a lot more alcoholic than it's 2 years younger sibling. Again a more complex nose than what you get on the palate, but this time the alcohol integration really brings the points down on this one
An older tasting where I have the following notes. Nice and dark rum with an oily palate. Fruity and lightly smoked and a medium finish.
