“Comparé à la version à 54%, ce Sampan ne fait pas dans la dentelle. Si le nez semble assez polyvalent entre les épices, les fruits (notamment les agrumes et le citron vert) et le côté floral et végétal, la bouche se veut beaucoup plus mordante et chaude. Malgré une légère rondeur, les degrés supplémentaires se font ressentir au palais, laissant une forte impression de piment en finale. Un rhum puissant, légèrement moins équilibré que son prédécesseur à 54%.”

“Erinnert brutal an Sake, die Nase ist erstmal vielversprechend. Geschmacklich ist er dann aber doch extrem parfümiert, salzig, bitter, jodig/metallisch und auch ein bisschen fleischig und lakritzig. Sehr sehr anstrengend pur zu trinken, da ist der 54% deutlich besser... Im daiquiri ist er dann etwas harmonischer mit Noten von weißem Pfeffer, Sternfrucht, grüner Paprika und auch wieder salziger Lakritze und Muskatblüte und Jod. Aber so richtig Spaß macht er selbst im daiquiri leider nicht ... Schade! Ganz geil Mal probiert zu haben aber hier würde ich ganz klar den 54% sampan bevorzugen!”
