"Best Bajan rum I’ve tasted so far. This release is produced by Foursquare for St. Nicholas Abbey, cause they hadn’t rum aged at this length at this stage of their production. Nowadays they have released a 12yo produced at the estate if I’ve understood it right."
"Drank today at Jarek's as a nightcap. A very elegant and well-balanced rum. Despite its 40%, it can do a lot, but unfortunately seems a little too thin. With a few more revolutions this would certainly be a cracker. A little overpriced for the current price and not worth the money. At the price when Jarek was able to buy it, it was certainly justified."
"This one does really well when compared to the 15 year old. Fruity and round and I love the light smoky touch on the palate. Would have loved to try it with a higher ABV because I think it would have done it well."
"Drank today with Zabo as a "nightcap". My first impression is confirmed again. Very tasty nose, with fruit, toffee, caramel. The fruit recedes on the palate. Spices, caramel, coconut and some smoke and wood take over. Last time I noted: "Pleasantly strong despite only 40% alcohol." Still holds true. But the bottom line is unfortunately too thin. This rum at cask strength would be awesome."
