The "Martinique" was produced in Martinique at the Dillon distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Compagnie des Indes. It was distilled in 2002 from Sugar cane juice with a Column Still and then aged for 13 years. The rum has an ABV of 44%. Not too bad a rum but I may use it for mixers instead of a sipper. The Agricole notes are there but there is a kind of imbalance overall.
sehr schöner Dillon! floral, frisch, cremig, eine leichte Säure im Abgang und dennoch fruchtig & leicht. schön ausgewogen und dennoch eine schöne Komplexität.
