The "Demerara Rum" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Samaroli. It was distilled in 1990 from Molasses with a Pot Still and then aged for 26 years. The rum has an ABV of 45%. This is a limited release and there are only 240 bottles.

“12.01.2019 I received a huge lot of Samaroli samples from my friend in the UK, and this is the first batch I tried. Notes. Light in colour. Nose: light, spice, wood, medicinal, light caramel. Palate: oily, wood, licorice, medicinal, spice, light smoke, thin. Finish: medium long, wood, licorice, light smoke, thin.”
