"15.02.2020 Had a nice evening with dinner and everything and after that a nice little tasting. Notes. Very dark in colour. Nose Wood, roasted, vegetal, petrol, light tomato, spice. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, honey, dried fruit, salty, pepper. Finish Medium long to long, wood, citrus, vegetal, light mint."
"In der Nase Gummiabrieb, Kautschuk und Muffiger Keller. Im Geschmack dann typisches Fiji Profil mit minimaler Salzigkeit und einigen Estereinflüssen. Im Abgang Holz, leichte Bitterstoffe und etwas Süße. Leider recht kurzer Abgang. Alkohol in Ordnung eingebunden, man merkt ihm den Dampf an. Für den 2001er Jahrgang kein herrausragender Fiji, aber dennoch ein sehr guter Rum."
"Al naso risalta subito tutta la palette dei profumi tipici della distilleria, quasi inconfondibili, piacevole mo non decisi come in altre release di altri imbottigliamenti, nel complesso ottimo. Al palato bisogna farlo riposare un po’, a mio avviso l’alcol sovrasta leggermente il palato. Dopo più di trenta minuti diventa leggermente più mansueto al palato mentre al naso migliora di parecchio. Al bicchiere e’ abbastanza viscido, considerando ne l’ho assaggiato con due bicchieri diversi atti a caratterizzare al meglio sia il naso che il palato. Nel complesso e’ piacevole e deciso tranne per la nota alcolica, personalmente non la trovo troppo bilanciata. (PS: la votazione, come le impressioni, sono prettamente personali)"
