7,8:On the nose, it delivers cottony notes of wood, very fatty peanuts and milk chocolate. It opens with a spicier note of biscuits, coffee and licorice. There is some medicinal touch and a hint of sugarcane. On aeration, an agricole with dried fruits and wood, we find this damp and cottony atmosphere again. We have peanuts, damp wood, oily cane, then the fatty and melted nuts. This is when the Guadeloupean style emerges, with candied fruits, banana is the most obvious, resinous and medicinal notes, as well as molasses. 8:On the palate, the attack is very smooth. There are some nuts, then herbaceous and medicinal flavors, licorice, molasses, coffee and resin, pairing agricultural profile made of cane, dried fruits (apricot) and tannins. 7,9:The finish is long, dry, an agricole side glows, woody and with dried fruits, spicy, the sugarcane is juicy, let's put it shortly, vegetal....
I'm not enthusiastic about this rum... Not very complex and marked by the wood but not greedy... In short, it's not bad, but that's where it ends for me...
A young Agricole with a very fruity nose. But somehow that was it, because there are only various alcohol notes on the nose. In mouth very thin and weak. Some sweetness from the sugar cane, some fruit and brandy. Like a mild brandy.
