The "MUI" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Cadenhead‘s. It was distilled in 1998 from Molasses with a Column Still and then aged for 16 years. The rum has an ABV of 60,2%.

„One of the Uitvlugt/Demerara profiles that doesn't fully pick me up. Fruity, slightly milky, spicy - the impact from the barrel aging of the tropically aged Demeraras is completely missing here. Not a bad rum, but real enthusiasm he does not spark with me. However, this may very well be subjective.“
