Haven't had that many La Favorite's. But from what I've heard they make good juice. On the juice: a well balanced honey sweet agricole. Pastries/fruitcake. Grape. Subtle and warm. Some cedar wood/wood spices. Taste: a lot dryer and bitter than expected. The wood is more present. French oak aka Armagnac/cognac comes through. Obviously grapes. The bitterness gets easier over time. All in all a very nice Agricole. The "dynamic aging" on the boat probably gave it a bit more wood for its age. Very decent drop.
It flows a woody, earthy (after a fresh summer rain) smell on one! On the palate, the wood dominates at first, then develops the typical grassy flavor, almost steppe-like, a slight spiciness can also be tasted ! Alcohol is virtually imperceptible! The finish is almost to be described as long and is grassy-earthy.... delicious
