Highly regarded as a herbal, grassy agricole with lively fruits and minerals. Most enjoy its complexity and balance at 52%, though it stays on the lighter, focused side rather than powerful or funky.

Round and elegant on the nose, lush with atypical fruits. Top note of sour orange juice blending into overripe peaches and a lovely honeydew sweetness. Then it turns mineral: pebbles, river and lots of seasalt. And eventually a base of uncut wet grass and milky cereal. In the mouth there’s a lot going on in terms of fruits, without getting overly funky. Don’t expect esters here. I get pineapple juice, berrymix and sliced apple, but I think it’s perfectly reasonable to discover 15 other fruits. Lots of fructose. Quite mineral with a very distinct river note, followed by more uncut grass, herbs and a smoked tail. Light and very short finish with more minerals and grass. Quite an unfortunate end to an otherwise pretty good expression.
Very sharp in the nose. Very sharp taste. Tastes a little like apples. Too sharp
Pleasant tasting, a pleasant rum without any craziness.
