How does this rum taste?
- unerwartet langer Abgang
- rapport qualité prix imbattable
- aromatique, disponible à un prix imbattable
Depaz Rhum Vieux Agricole Plantation is a Martinique column still rum with a profile that's generally "woody, spicy, vegetal and orange peel" heavy. Users often mention its delicate nose, “chamomile (tea)…light fruit: peaches. Oranges. A hint of oak” (Rowald Sweet Empire) and a palate showcasing "spicy dry start going into orange zest" (Kevin Sorensen 🇩🇰). The finish leans long, with citrus and a slightly bitter or herbal twist. Not everyone finds it thrilling, but many agree it's a solid, approachable agricole—especially for the price.

To Depaz
"Bought me this bottle on my way down to Spain. It’s aged for at least 3 years in oak casks. Overall a quite intense Agricole that’s quite demanding with flavors of fruits, spices and oak from the barrels."
"Nella norma, profumi che regalano poche emozioni."
"I particularly like the unexpectedly long finish. For the money, you get a very complex agricole that has both the typical agricole aromas and barrel notes. For the price, I think it's a good deal, especially in the world of mixologists."
"Starts out very delicate in the nose. Honey. Light. Chamomille (tea). Light fruit: peaches. Oranges. A hint of oak. Tasty: nice. More yellow fruits. Abricot. Peach. Orange. A little bitterness. Wood more prominent. Could do with a bit more alcohol%. Still delicate. Easy sipper. Nothing outstanding but again pretty good. The fruitiness especially a appealling."
