Something to chew on and take your time with. Very thick and heavy flavours. Gets better with time and air and will eventually be a top dram.
Au nez, pas de doute on est en Jamaïque avec ses bananes mûres. On retrouve d’autres fruits exotiques (noix de coco …) ainsi que de la fraîcheur mentholée et de la vanille. Le nez est plutôt encourageant. En bouche, l’attaque est franche, on se prend un bon coup de fouet mais c'est agréable. C’est moins sur les fruits tropicaux mais plus sur les fruits confits. Mais on retrouve le funky de la Jamaïque. La finale est plutôt réussie pour ce type de rhum lourd. On garde du jolis boisé en bouche, des épices et le tout agrémenté d’eucalyptus. En conclusion, c’est sympa et fougueux. J’ai vraiment bien aimé ! Un joli rhum qui s'améliorera encore avec l'aération. Vous aurez l'occasion de le découvrir, si vous le souhaitez, lors de notre BBQ de fin de saison !
Hmmm, am i starting to like Jamaican rums 🤔 This one isn't too funky imo. I like it. It does give a nice kick at 61.8%.
Une salade de fruit bizn sage avec cette fameuse banane verte typique de WP. Première bouche un peu rude niveau intégration de l'alcool. Ça s'atténue par la suite mais l'intégralité reste perfectible. Ça reste un profil relativement gourmand mais à la longueur un peu courte
