"Perfect! Round, alcohol wonderfully integrated, complex, long finish, plum and wood in perfect harmony"
"This bottle has been resting for too long on my shelf so today was the day to finally open it. Righ from popping the bottle open, the flavours start spreading. The nose starts off with a hint of solvent and rubber that quickly disappeared. Then apricot and oak with a hint of licorice, tobacco and caramel. The palate is well balanced and complex as well as warming with fruit and some anise. The i get oak and chocolate, yum. The finish is very long and warm, fruity with oak and spices and in the back some marzipan. "
"As they sometimes say: liquid history 😉 If you indulge in this rum, it opens up to you and tells incredibly beautiful stories. That make you smile blissfully. A rum that rests within itself. That doesn't need to impress. It just does it. I smile."
"Let's just start describing. Plum with plum, accompanied by plums. Plum compote, stewed plum, dried plum with a dollop of plum, with plum juice floating in the background. The plum hovers over everything and is coated in a generous portion of plum jam. Did I already mention plum??.... One of the best 75s. Its essence of.... is just right, plum.... certainly not the most complex of its kind, far from it. But what it delivers, it delivers, without compromise. Like so many 75s, it unfortunately suffers from its enormous Angels Share, which characterizes the rum when stored for many years. It lacks a little power and intensity in the mouth, which some bottlings can do better. However, the overall impression is right"
