“This bottle has been resting for too long on my shelf so today was the day to finally open it. Righ from popping the bottle open, the flavours start spreading. The nose starts off with a hint of solvent and rubber that quickly disappeared. Then apricot and oak with a hint of licorice, tobacco and caramel. The palate is well balanced and complex as well as warming with fruit and some anise. The i get oak and chocolate, yum. The finish is very long and warm, fruity with oak and spices and in the back some marzipan.”
