How does this rum taste?
Borgoe Reserve Collection Rum from Suriname is distilled using both pot and column stills, aged for 12 years. Despite its modest ratings, the rum is noted for its tropical fruit aroma, hinting at dried dates, oak, and dark chocolate. The distillery uses a three column still and a pot still for their production, but after tasting this I believe that at least is the main content in it from the column still. The nose is quite weak. It went a little better in mouth and palate, but the weakness is then back again during the short finish.
