How does this rum taste?
Most find it simple, light and inoffensive, with some pleasant vanilla and caramel. Critics call it bland, short and slightly syrupy. Consensus: drinkable but forgettable and poor value for enthusiasts.
If you mostly want a gentle, background-sipping rum, this will do, but if you’ve enjoyed characterful rums before, the community largely finds this too weak and uninteresting.
Rum enthusiasts seeking complexity, bold flavor, or strong nose; anyone focused on value for money or looking for a characterful sipping rum.

By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 25,000 bottlings, 270,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 50,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

The distillery uses a three column still and a pot still for their production, but after tasting this I believe that at least is the main content in it from the column still. The nose is quite weak. It went a little better in mouth and palate, but the weakness is then back again during the short finish.
