For me, the spearhead of tropically matured Demeraras.The nose welcomes you quite warm and set. Wonderfully integrated glue.Fresh, aromatic and warm pipe tobacco. Oodles of sugary raisins, dried dates and coconut oil. The sweetness is also complemented by demerara sugar, caramel and creme brulee. Very nicely integrated old wood. Everything has a very heavy depth and is incredibly balanced.Very set in the mouth. Lots of old wood, polish, dried fruit, orange peel and a very nice natural sweetness. Bitterness is virtually non-existent here and the alcohol is excellently integrated.Even if I stand overall, and especially with Demerara Rum, rather on the continental side, this rum is for me an absolute masterpiece

Absolute top class from Guyana - and I have to say by now: This is indeed the clear king of the Velier Uitvlugts. Absolutely round, close to perfection.
