Too flat & bland for me! The nose is round and sweet with scents of vanilla. At the palate it’s round and very sweet with flavors of vanilla and sugar. The finish is medium long and goes on in the same way as at the palate.
Pleasant to drink…Nothing special
The nose has lots of sweet dried fruits mixed in with honey. Further nosing reveals some toffee and cocoa. The palate is more woody then the nose let's on with a hidden depth of coconut. The finish is of a medium length, leathery and with a lot of spice. It's a pretty solid example of Central American rum. Light and inoffensive, just a touch too leathery for my tastes.
