"This is one of the first Silver Seal's I've had where I was disappointed. The rum os completely out of balance and the roasted/smoke wood has taken over the profile. Even when rested for an hour and with some added water is still cones off wrong."
"A very disappointing rum. The nose is markedly acidic, with hints of cold chimney and ashtray. There's a hint of fruit in the background. The palate is even worse, with chimney and ashtray residues completely dominating the smothered fruit. The finish is short. Not much fun here."
