RumX members love the balanced mix of vanilla, caramel, and dry oak with peppery spice. This 6-year Martinique agricole brings fruity sugarcane and citrus, with the 45% ABV feeling smooth and well integrated. Often called a benchmark and an easy entrance to Agricole, it’s enjoyed neat or with ice and leaves a long, woody finish. A fruity aroma, vanilla, a little bit of caramel. The taste is spicy, peppery, in the aftertaste also a little cocoa and slightly fruity.
A very balanced Agricole rum, we would drink liters of it. It lacks character and length but the profile is super pleasant.
#4429 Whisky & Rom Festival 2023 28.10.2023 Notes. Really well balanced and fruity rum. Nice spices and well integrated wood. There are also nice vegetal notes. Very fresh profile.
