Au nez, faut l’approcher doucement sinon ça brûle, mais il mérite sûrement plus d’aération. Une fois qu’on l’approche plus doucement le nez apparaît et j’ai beaucoup de vanille, des fruits, de la pomme (klaudia dit pourrie, moi je dis verte, sûre / bien vive), de la pêche surmûrie, des fruits tropicaux. Un petit côté jam low ester / guyana. J’ai l’impression d’être sur un guyana avec un côté gourmand qu’apporte la vanille (fut de bourbon? J’ai pas l’info). En bouche, l’entrée c’est full levure mais arrondi par les fruits. L’alcool un peu trop présent en bouche, ça crame un peu au début mais après c’est envoûtant ça englobe. Ça démarre assez sec, amer puis ça s’arrondit et devient légèrement plus gourmand. Deuxième gorgée bien plus smooth, bien plus agréable et une amertume (celle du bois peut être) qui vient dominer le reste de la bouche. Troisième gorgée encore meilleure. Au plus il s’ouvre au mieux il est (moins amer / alcooleux etc). Ressenti assez similaire que sur le chairman RA et RTN Finale est super bonne, axée sur le bois avec un chouilla les fruits. J’ai pas mal là pomme qui ressort.
J’avoue que c’est mon moins bon St Lucie, et je suis un peu decu. On a de beaux fruits bien mûrs, un peu d’ananas et de pomme assez faciles à déceler mais à côté une cire trop présente et des épices timides. Le tout finit un peu tôt.. ça manque de longueur, ça manque de quelques chose cette affaire.
Au nez, c’est intriguant. On retrouve la finesse de beaux fruits exotiques mais avec la lourdeur des solvants et colles. Après aération c’est plus pâtissier avec une touche de fraîcheur d’eucalyptus. En bouche, c’est épicé et sur l’amande. Les 52.5% sont parfaitement dompté et on retrouve la fraîcheur du nez plus sur le menthol. Des fruits exotiques viennent égayer la dégustation. On a droit à une belle longueur plus sur le boisé. En conclusion : Riche, concentré, herbacé, épicé et d’une belle fraîche longueur. Il faut absolument que je m’intéresse plus a cette île.
Le tout est assez moyen et assez vite oublié
