“This rum is drier than the 2004, 2005 and 2007. Foursquare definitely delivers this time. A wonderful complex nose that you just want to return to over and over again. The palate is heavy, well balanced and dry with a touch of oak. The finish is long and a bit of smoke as well as fruits.”

“Riecht echt intensiv und lecker nach Frucht, Karamell, Vanille und Gewürzen, allerdings schon etwas nach Lösungsmittel, was aber nach einer gewissen Zeit verfliegt. Super rund. Pur ist dieser Rum schwer und kräftig, mit etwas Wasser absolut mild. Geht runter wie Öl. Leider bekomme ich hier nicht so viel Schokolade, dafür viel Frucht und Gewürze. Der Bourboneinfluss ist vorhanden. Sehr runder, leckerer und komplexer Rum, da kann man nicht viel meckern :-)”

“Foursquare in gewohnter Qualität und mit gewohntem Geschmacksprofil. Und das (noch) zum Kampfpreis. In der Nase etwas schwächer und weniger komplex als seine Brüder mit Bourbon-Finish. Im Mund richtig geil. So soll Rum schmecken. OK, dann ist da noch der 96er Diamond...”
