How does this rum taste?
Very well-integrated alcohol leads a smooth, funky Batavia Arrack where sherry is noticeable but not too dominant. Expect sherry, raisin and date on the nose; a thick, roasted palate with plum, oak, a meaty touch (like soy‑plum sauce) and a hint of smoke. Long, warm finish with spice. Well rated by 16 RumX members, and a very limited release of just 75 bottles.

einfach nur geil. Alkohol extrem gut eingebunden. Sherry spürbar aber nicht zu dominant. arrack gibt schön den Ton an und das ganze einfach nur extrem smooth und funky!🤤 als würde man gebratenen Speck in Schokolade und Rosinen mit orientalischen Gewürzen wälzen... Hammer. Insbesondere Safran, grüne Paprika, Rosenwasser, Mandarinenschale und Kardamom sind dominant je öfter ich ihn probiere. Bin froh ne 2. Flasche zu haben. Außergewöhnlicher Stoff!
Der macht wirklich Spaß! Positives Beispiel für ein Pedro Ximenes Faß. Intensiv und ausgewogen. Neben dunkler Fruchtigkeit eine fleischige Röstnote, wie eine Soja-Pflaumensauce. Davon gieße ich mir auch gerne ein oder zwei Gläser nach. Alkohol nahezu perfekt harmonisiert.
Sehr rauchig durchweg mit einer angenehmen Süße. Für Liebhaber die es gern rauchig mögen klare Empfehlung
