The "Demerara" was produced in Guyana at the Uitvlugt distillery. It was selected and bottled by the independent bottler Silver Seal. It was distilled in 1992 from Molasses and then aged for 23 years. The rum has an ABV of 50%. This is a limited release and there are only 231 bottles. 12 community members rated this rum with an average of 8.4/10. The rum smells like Banana, Woody and Spicy, and on the palate there is Woody, Sweet and Acidic.

06.03.2020 Met up with some colleagues to give a tasting at this old iconic place. Notes. Light to medium dark colour. Nose Round, wood, light roasted, anise, plum, dried fruit. Palate Oily, wood, roasted, raisin, plum, licorice, light chocolate. Finish Medium to long, wood, light smoke, dried fruit, licorice.
