How does this rum taste?
The 2003 Guyana rum from the Diamond Distillery, bottled by Bristol Classic Rum & Corman Collins & The Auld Alliance, is a limited edition with only 173 bottles available. Distilled from molasses using a pot still and aged for 15 years, this rum boasts complex aromas of licorice, cocoa, coffee, and cinnamon. Users describe its rich palate as caramel-forward with notes of dried fruit, wood, and a perfectly balanced finish accentuated by a hint of funkiness. This rum's smooth integration of its 58.3% ABV, as well as its warming, oily texture, offers a standout experience for connoisseurs.

By rum lovers, for rum lovers
I'm Oliver – together with Jakob, Robert, and Lukas, we started RumX in 2018 as a small passion project in Stuttgart, back then under the name Rum Tasting Notes.
What began as a digital tasting diary is now the world's most comprehensive platform for rum fans: over 24,000 bottlings, 260,000+ independent reviews, and an active community with 47,000 members. We combine the collective intelligence of our community with an integrated marketplace, allowing you to shop securely and manage your collection directly from the app.
The goal? To offer you, the rum connoisseur, a place where you can choose with confidence—without paperwork, detours, or expert jargon.

Great. Many thanks to Joachim who provided me with this sample.
Wow unbeschreiblich
Ovomaltine at its best 😅 Malty on the nose, milk chocolate, dried dates, tangerine. Caramel and cappuccino on the palate. A nice barrel note on the finish. Dangerously delicious! Many thanks to Vienna for this!
No tasting notes today as a lot of rums were sampled and re-sampled in addition to a couple cigars and we talked rather than taking tasting notes. This one was the highlight of the day with a re-tasting of the Tamosi Haubariria KFM.
