“Viel Melasse, Holz und Röstaromen formen den Enmore zu einem tollen komplexen Rum mit sehr langem Abgang. Alkohol könnte etwas besser eingebunden sein.”

“Intensives Spektrum aus vorwiegend Kakao, Eichenholz, Karamell, Tabak und Gewürzen. Dazu gesellen sich dezente mineralische Noten, Anklänge getrockneter und gelber Früchte sowie geröstete Nüsse. Das Aromenspektrum der schweren Süsse ist insbesondere in der Nase von Karamell über Vanille bis hin zu vollreifer Mango nahezu perfekt ausgeprägt. Im Mund wird der hohe Alkoholgehalt leider etwas zu deutlich erkennbat und überlagert das Gesamtprofil etwas. Mir fehlen schlussendlich ein wenig die Kontrastpunkte zu dieser schweren Süsse, konkret beispielsweise dunkle Früchte oder etwas nuanciertere Gewürze. Trotzdem bleibt hier ein tolles Destillat bestehen.”

“I love going to this bar because they have a huge selection of top shelf and super rare rums. This Enmore is just up there with the best Enmore releases. Fruity with nice smoky wood notes and lovely spices. The caramel is very light and more obvious in the empty glass.”
