26.06.2025 Retasting and I stick to my score. --------------- 17.08.2019 Spending a nice evening with the guys, good food and several different rums. Colour Dark in colour. Nose Fresh, sweet, wood, roasted, light plum, spice, light nutty, faint chocolate, dried fruit. Palate Light, sweet, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, prunes, light chocolate, spicy, light anise, orange. Finish Medium to long, wood, roasted, medium spicy, light chocolate, light nutts, dried fruit. Needs to rest for a good while to really open up properly. Would have liked it with a higher ABV.
Opulente Süsse, mit der zunehmenden Reifung kommt abseits der sirupartigen Karamell, Schokolade und Vanillezuckersüsse auch etwas mehr Würze und Röstaromatik ins Profil. Die sehr ausgeprägte Zuckeraromatik bleibt aber dominant und prägt das Spektrum.
