“This is definitely a heavy Caroni, but in a totally different way than the regular one. The nose has the tupivmcsl rubber and fuel and tar to it. There is also a heavy note with alcohol and tobacco and spice with a tad of sherry if you leave it to rest. The palate has some natural sweetness to it with sherry and wine. Rubber and smoky oak and tobacco follows in the next sips. The finish is extremely long and heated from the proof, at the same time heavy and with smoke and tobacco. The following day the glass is heavy with oak and smoke.”
