Interesting rum from one usually overlooked country! It is very delicate, even after 10+ years in the barrel. Very light notes of fruits (peaches, apricots and maybe apples), mixed with mild spices and this constant flavor of grappa/ fruit distillate..same profile on the palate, with an added note of roasted hazelnut. Even if it is a good rum, not one of my favorite
