“Un autre rhum antique de la Martinique, qui tire son épingle du jeu au nez avec de beaux arômes fruités (fruits jaunes, tropicaux, ananas, pêche, zestes d’orange) et des notes de colle très subtiles au début du nez. Le reste du profil repose sur des notes boisées, caramélisées et légèrement florales. En bouche, le rhum change complètement de face avec un ton plus épicé (piment, poivre et réglisse), légèrement toasté, végétal, floral, avec des noix et de fruits secs, laissant en désuétude les fruits du nez. La finale est plutôt de longueur moyenne, sur le même profil terreux, végétal et épicé mais avec une pointe de café et d’amertume supplémentaire. Un profil plutôt complet et assez profond pour ces vieux rhums d’antan.”
