This is a great release and I just love it. At release the price was very good compared to what you got. Leave it to rest for a good while and also try to add some water to release even more flavours on the nose. The nose is nutty with mango, menthol, olive, licorice and cinnamon with light wood trailing. The palate is wonderful and complex yet well balanced. Fruity with spices and smoky wood and licorice. The finish is very long with wood, spices and raisins.
Für mich nicht klassisch Bellevue. Viele dreckige Noten. Erinnert mich tw. an TDL gepaart mit Monymusk. Konzentrierte Früchte, würzig, funky. Sehr gutes Stück.
A rather dark and very complex profile. This is probably a molasses-pur jus blend like most (all?) Bellevue 1998s, but on this one it's more the notes of an old pur jus that stand out.
Sehr runder Bellevue aus 1998. Die tiefen Fruchtaromen sind ebenso vorhanden wie die eleganten Holznoten, das Geschmacksbild ist sehr stimmig. Macht Spass.
