1. Impression: hay and grassy notes, then some wood and a bit later fruit. The fruit and other aromas are quite shy, while the alcohol arrives a bit strong. 2. Tasting: same as before, a bit more Caramel to the nose and the palate. All in all quite enjoyable.
A very agricultural nose, as we like it: buttery cane, vegetal, banana and citrus. Consistent on the palate, sweet as can be with a hint of caramel on top. A very pleasant xo.
A pleasant rum with woody notes, despite a high alcohol content. Spicy finish (pepper, nutmeg), unfortunately very short.
