“I was looking forward to tasting this rum, praised by many enthusiasts. A nose of blackened banana, wet wood, caramel and vanilla. A two-masted sailing ship en route to Europe with its cargo of bananas and caramel. The palate is grandiose, with an unimaginable depth of bitter orange, caramel, banana, wet wood and a very light saltiness that corroborates the idea of a two-masted sailing ship. The length is incredible, with all the aromas announcing themselves and then slowly diminishing. You want more. What a rum!”
